Good news Olney and northern Silver Spring residents! Getting to the dental office of Victor R. Siegel, DDS is about to get easier. The initial section of the InterCounty Connector (ICC) is scheduled to open to traffic on Tuesday, February 22, 2011, weather permitting Referred to as Contract A, this 7.2 mile section will connect I-270 and Georgia Avenue and will have full interchanges at MD 355, Shady Grove Metro Station, and Georgia Avenue (MD 97) . The remaining sections of the ICC are scheduled to open in late 2011 or early 2012. The ICC wil be Marylands first all electronic toll road.
