How Does the Zoom!® Teeth Whitening System Work?
The Zoom!® teeth whitening system uses a specially formulated hydrogen peroxide gel. Dr. Siegel will cover the gums and lips to protect these sensitive tissues before applying the whitening gel to the teeth. The teeth will then be exposed to the Zoom!® lamp, a special blue light that activates the ingredients in the hydrogen peroxide gel to break up the surface stains of the teeth. The teeth will be exposed to the light for up to three 15 minute sessions, during which time the patient can relax, listen to music, or watch television. When the Zoom!® treatment is complete, Dr. Siegel will treat the teeth with fluoride to offer protection from tooth decay and sensitivity. The entire process is typically complete in just under an hour.

Alternate Treatment
