World Smile Day 2011

You've been Smiled! by Dr. Victor Siegel and Staff in honor of World Smile Day, created by Harvey Ball in 1999. Mr. Ball was a commercial artist who developed the smiley face symbol universally used today. The idea behind World Smile Day was to have one day in which the smiley face, whose meaning had become lost in over-commercialization, would stand for kindness and goodness in people as originally intended.
