So I decided to become a dentist kind of later on in my college career. I was trying to figure out what to do and I realized that I love taking care of people and I love working with my hands, and I thought that dentistry was a good mesh for those two things.
The thing I enjoy most about being a dentist is interacting with my patients. I love getting to know them and I love making a difference in their lives, whether it's a small chip that needs restoring or a full mouth case, I really see that my work can rebuild their confidence and change their life, honestly.
I really strive to have my patients feel comfortable when they come in the chair. Dentistry can be scary. It can be traumatic. We've had patients that have had previously bad experiences so I really want them to be comfortable, that's really my utmost concern. Comfortable, painless, I want them to understand what's going on. I'm really passionate about educating my patients. I want them to know almost as much as I do about what's going on so they can make an educated and an informed decision.
